When you are picking your new kitten up from us we can let him or her go at 12 to 16 weeks of age. At this time they are eating well on their own, using the litter box and have vaccinations started. Our kittens are guaranteed healthy on arrival but we do require that you have your new kitten checked by your vet within 72 hours of arrival. Your new kitten will come with a written health guarantee and a pet or breeder contract. ALL pet kittens WILL be altered within 6 months of age.

We have developed a very well organized and well rounded cattery. We are fully dedicated to the health and excellence of the Bengal breed. It is an expensive and very serious hobby. The price of our bengals covers Vet expenses, screenings, food, supplies and cattery maintenance. We work very hard to ensure that you will get a Bengal kitten that is well socialized, well cared for and loved for you to enjoy.

Our first focus is to breed cats that are well tempered, genetically healthy, and are outstanding examples of the breed. While many of our cats would do well in a show hall or breeding facility, ultimately, they will be someone’s pet, a responsibility we take very seriously. We also pride ourselves in being able to offer a wide variety of colors and patterns, as well as rare, cutting edge traits that most Bengal breeders do not include in their breeding programs.

All of our Bengal kittens for sale are vet-checked and vaccinated before they are placed in their new homes. We are always at your disposal, should you have any questions or concerns about your new bundle of fur after it leaves our “nest”, and consider our clients to be “extended” members of our family. Kittens are an intricate part of the family, and must be treated as such. Nothing less than a lifetime commitment is expected from our potential Bengal kitten owners.

Our cattery sits mainly in the sunroom, a large add on to our home, where several large 8X8 kennels have been built. These kennels house and separate our males. The females are normally in the larger part of the sunroom, except when they are pregnant. The females get their own bedroom for delivering and taking care of their babies. We do welcome visits to come see the cattery. This is an opportunity to see where my adults are kept, their surroundings and general health and well being.

Our Bengals are carefully bred to standard, then raised with love. They have wonderful personalities as well as wild beauty. They are delightful poetry in motion. In addition to traditional short coat Bengals, we have long haired Bengals, also known as Cashmeres. Long hair in the Bengal is from recessive genes already present, so we are able to select for this wonderful trait.

Fractal Felines is a small, in-home cattery in the Washington, DC area dedicated to the improvement of the Bengal Cat. Our owner has been involved with cats, feline health and feline husbandry her whole life and has been working with the Bengal Breed since the year 2000. Trained as a PhD research biologist,she keeps up on the latest in feline infectious diseases and genetics and applies these to the Fractal breeding program.
