From the breeder:

Temple Parlor opened in 1999, six months after I graduated from the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, located in a big Edwardian house, on Queen Anne Hill in Seattle Washington.  Yoga, Medicine, Art and Fancy Felines all come together in my hobby of breeding cats. Breeding cats is a genetic art form where the composition of the cats is to follow the ideal written in the CFA breed standard. In my breeding of Exotic Shorthairs and Persians I work to keep a high quality breed type, with an array of colorful lush coats and patterns along with various eye hues.

Why does it matter if I buy from a registered Exotic Shorthair Cat breeder?

When you buy from a registered Exotic Shorthair Cat breeder (with either their local Exotic Shorthair Cat club, governing body, or TICA/CFA), that ensures that a standard of care and expertise is enforced. I have had two interests since I was very young… the Internet and cats. I grew up with two lovely cats in my family, Midnight and Chloe. But when I started looking for a cat as an adult, I realized how few reliable resources there are for finding ethical breeders. So I combined my Internet skills and cat knowledge to create Cat Kingpin, the #1 resource for cat breeders online. Have a question or suggestion for my list? You can reach me here.
